My name is Scott and I am 19 years old and I live in Lubbock, Texas. I am so stoked about this trip and about the crazy awesome stuff God is going to do, get pumped!!! I am a sophomore at Texas Tech University majoring in Human Development and Family Studies, I'm thinking I want to go into youth ministry and worship leading after school. God has been so faithful in my life these past two years of college, it's so tight how much he loves us!! Thank you Lord! 

I felt a calling to go overseas in the fall, but I had no idea where the Lord wanted me to go serve. About a month ago a friend was telling me about AIM, and I decided to check it out. Originally I thought I wanted to go to Africa, but when I stumbled upon the Israel trip it was just like BAM!! This is where I am supposed to be! I have gotten a lot of confirmation about this trip since then, and I am so excited about just going and sharing his love with this incredible country! I can't wait to meet all of you and I will be lifting ya'll up in prayer as we all continue to prepare for this trip! I found myself being a little nervous about the trip, it being so far away and in a country that is going through a lot of conflict. The Lord showed up though in my burden and laid a scripture on my heart and I want to leave it with all of ya'll as well! 

"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline"- 2 Timothy 1:7

Lets be bold and fearless as we step forward and serve His kingdom, putting all our faith in Him!
