A little bit about me :) I've grown up in church all my life and really followed the Lord. I've had some rough times in my life, I mean who hasn't? But God is always faithful till the end! Amen! School has been rough, especially this year. It's been tiring and I just felt so exhausted. My ministry team teacher, Mr. Blackburn, is going on The World Race this June and was telling me about it. I looked it up and found these two month trips. And there I saw it...a chance to go back to Africa. Two years ago this summer my brother and I took a 7- week long, hard, rewarding, amazing trip to Uganda, Africa. I had read some of your blogs and saw that some of you wanted to go to Africa, well same here with me as well. I always say that Africa and the Ugandan people stole a piece of my heart, I've always wanted to go back there and I thought this was my chance. Well our plans are not always God's plans, am I right? Little did I know God wanted me to go to Israel.

Months before God showed me that I was to go on this trip, I had begun receiving letters in the mail about Israel. I don't know if you guys have heard of them but it is a ministry called "Chosen People Ministries." They are wonderful and they have a base in Tel Aviv! Anyways, God had begun to work in my heart about the Jewish people. Then to top it all off my World History teacher taught for 6 weeks on the Holocaust and all of the problems the Jews had to go through. More and more I had begun to just feel God pulling me to this country...then He woke me up early one morning and just assured me, through His Word, that Israel is the place where He wants me. I then followed all of the procedures and got accepted on this team! I cannot wait to meet everyone and I know this summer is going to be amazing; spending it with Jesus, you guys and the Jewish people! :) He is amazing and worthy to be praised!! Let's all praise Him this summer and give Him the Glory! :D
